Controversial Priest in catholic
church Rev. Father Ejike Mbaka of the Adoration Ministries Enugu shortened AMEN
on October 6, Wednesday, congratulated officials of Rangers FC for winning the
Nigerian Professional Football League
. He gave N2 million and decoders to
players at the dedication of their league trophy to God at the priest’s ministry
by the club.,
Rev. Mbaka informed the people that he was happy
that God’s prophecy came to fulfillment in the club after 32 years
in the wasteland. The eminent man of God said: “Before the 2016/2017 season
began, we handed the players and the league to God in which a prophecy was made
that the league trophy belongs to Rangers. “Today, we are celebrating God`s
work in action, we are no more praying to come out the champion but celebrating
the champions. “For this wonderful achievement , I and the Adoration Ministries
present N2 million to Rangers FC and this decoder to each member of the club.’’
On his own part, Charles Ndukwe, state commissioner for youths and sports, thanked
the cleric and made an assurance that
the club would always seek God’s presence in all endeavors.
Father Mbaka is one
of the prophets who foresaw the victory of Muhammadu Buhari in the last year’s
presidential election. However, the priest was strongly criticized by the
priesthoods in the south east when he chose to support President Buhari a
northerner to beat Goodluck Jonathan a southerner in the poll. Mbaka blasted those who said he
is a false prophet and released his prophecies for 2016. – Mbaka He warned the
leader of the nation that his life is in danger because of his fight against
corruption. The cleric said: “Many people are planning to kill Buhari; there
are many plans on how to eliminate his life so that corruption will continue;
so that embezzlement will continue
