Her words : “Since October 2015, Nnamdi Kanu, a dual citizen of Britain and Nigerian and head of the Indigenous People Of Biafra has been unlawfully detained by Nigeria’s Department of State Services in spite of the fact that all criminal charges leveled against him were dropped and a court order has been issued for him to be released immediately on bail.
Chapter 4 section 39 of the Nigerian constitution she said, says that every person shall be entitled to freedom of expression including freedom to hold different opinions and to receive, make ideas and information without interference.” Ward called on President Muhammadu Buhari to quickly release Kanu and also stop the violence against Biafra people
